Compared with Better-Known Systems

BART is San Francisco's Metro. LRT is elevated light rail, like the one nearly finished to SeaTac airport. But this omits the overhead electrical clutter, shown on the Japanese slide. ALWEG is the first full-scale monorail in the US, the 1962 Seattle Monorail, never repeated except in Asia. It was slimmed down somewhat for Disney World.
